Seventh Task: A Landscape Collage

Make two landscape collages in your sketchbook.
Use landscape orientation i.e. two pages, both in horizontal position so that the image is wider than it is tall.
To create your collages use a photo from a magazine, the internet or, if you prefer, one of your own.
Cut it out of the magazine or print it from the internet and then create a collage which represents/looks like your original.
Feel free to use any kind of paper you like (card paper, tissue paper etc) but don't forget to also utilize magazine paper as well to get the visual textures you will need.

Sixth Task: Splitting an Area into Sections

FIRST: You have to transform a rectangle or a square, a triangle and a circle by splitting it up. The form of the figure has to be retained. You have to try in your sketchbook, using any kind of paper and gluing it on the pages. You have to create:

• Two figures from a rectangle or a square.
• Two figures from a triangle.
• Two figures from a circle.

SECONDLY: Then we are going to use the second technique. Instead of splitting the parts up, this time you have to transform the figure by cutting out and folding back. This exercise requires a paper that is the same colour on both sides. The area to be cut can be a triangle, a rectangle, a square or a circle. So the exercise to be done is:

• Two figures from a triangle, a rectangle, a square or a circle using this second technique.  

In total you have to create EIGHT new figures.

The basic rule is NEVER ADD OR TAKE AWAY. You have to use every piece of paper cut.

Fifth Task

You have to draw your paper bird in you sketchbook in, at least, four different positions. Here you have a website with the instructions to make it, just in case you do not remember it.

Fourth Task

You have to draw something that you like drawing. Easy, isn´t it? Use at least four pages.

Third Task: Dining Table

• In your sketchbook, draw the objects that you can see on your dining table. It can be cutlery, glassware, dinnerware, food..., and from your breakfast, lunch, dinner...
• Use the 2B or HB pencil. 
• Use at least four pages.

Second Task: Hands

• In your sketchbook, draw your hand in four different positions. 
• Use a 2B or HB pencil. Pay special attention to the lines.
• Use at least four pages.

First Task: Leaves, Trees, Flowers...

• In your sketchbook, draw some flowers, leaves, trees, branches, that you can see around. 
• Use the technique that you prefer. 
• Write down their name in English. In case you do not know it, ask the teacher or the assistant.
• Use at least four pages.
